Designed for students who have already completed a 200-hour YTT and wish to expand their knowledge, this program guides you beyond asana into pranayama, meditation, Yoga Nidra, philosophy and the subtler aspects of yogic living under the guidance of experienced Himalayan teachers.

The Nidra Yog Foundation 300 hour training goes beyond asana and anatomy. You receive an in-depth study of pranayama (breathing practices), meditation, Yoga philosophy, prana and the energetic body, and the transformative practice of Yoga Nidra. This course refines your personal practice and equips you with the confidence, clarity and sensitivity to teach advanced students safely and effectively.

Yoga Destination – Varkala, India

Varkala is a town in the south Indian state of Kerala, on the Arabian Sea and known for its palm-covered red cliffs and Varkala Beach. Just south, Papanasam Beach is believed to have holy waters. Nearby stands the ancient Janardanaswamy Temple, a Hindu pilgrimage site dedicated to Vishnu, and further inland the Sivagiri Mutt memorializes the social reformer Sree Narayana Guru. Our retreat center in Varkala is situated amidst picturesque surroundings at the foothills of the cliffs, selected for its quiet, warm atmosphere that is perfect to recharge, study and meditate.

Accommodation

At Nidra Yog Foundation you will be welcomed into a hygienic, comfortable and inviting stay. Rooms are in a quiet place with windows opening to serene landscapes. Single or double rooms are spacious, with Wi-Fi, western bathrooms and comfortable beds. You can enjoy the fruit gardens and sit under the trees for meditation between classes.

  • Anatomy and Physiology of Yoga – Advanced: Understand how asanas (static and dynamic), vinyasas and pranayama affect body systems, health and spiritual energy, and how to safely increase strength, flexibility and endurance.
  • History, Philosophy and Tradition: Explore the core philosophies of Yoga and realize your inner spiritual power beyond the body, mind and worldly possessions, with insights from Hatha, Tantra and Vinyasa traditions.
  • Prana & Chakras: Study the principal energy channels through which life-force flows, learn to cleanse the channels and remove energetic blocks or knots in the system.
  • The Art and Science of Sequencing: Learn how to sequence postures, pranayama and meditation into a skillful Yoga practice, with clear principles on how and why to combine techniques.
  • Practical Yoga Teaching Sessions: Daily opportunities to teach, receive feedback and refine your voice, alignment cues and class management for the betterment of your own teaching.

Advanced 300 Hrs Yoga TTC Certification in Varkala Kerala India

After successful completion of the course, a 300 hour Yoga Teacher Training Certificate will be awarded. With this certificate you will be recognized as a certified Yoga teacher and can teach Yoga anywhere in the world, or simply use the knowledge to elevate your personal practice to the next level.

Course Fee Includes

The course fee includes tuition, certificate, course materials, accommodation and three vegetarian meals a day for the whole training period.

Payment

The advance payment is done via PayPal or Bank Transfer. 20% of the total amount is required to be transferred as a registration fee to confirm your seat.

You can pay the remaining amount on arrival or transfer the complete amount in advance, as you wish. Payments can be made via cash, debit, credit card or bank transfer (transaction charges may apply).
