Day 2 – Human Anatomy
- Overview of skeletal system
- Basic muscular system relevant to massage
- Joints and movement patterns
- Healthy body posture principles
Day 3 – Physiology
- Blood circulation and its response to massage
- Lymphatic system and detox support
- Nervous system and relaxation response
- Overall effect of massage on the body
Day 4 – Dosha Concept
- Vata, Pitta, Kapha explained
- Body types and prakriti basics
- Choosing massage styles and pressure according to dosha
Day 5 – Oils Knowledge
- Ayurvedic oils: Dhanwantharam, Kottamchukkadi, Mahanarayana, Sesame oil
- Western carrier oils: Almond, Coconut, Grapeseed
- Basic oil selection for different body types and conditions
Day 6 – Contraindications
- Situations when massage should be avoided
- Fever and acute illness
- Pregnancy precautions
- Skin issues and infections
- Injuries and recent surgeries
Day 7 – Therapist Posture Training
- Hand positioning and contact quality
- Body mechanics for therapist safety

Week 2 – Ayurveda Massage Techniques
Day 8 – Abhyanga Basics

- Synchronized movement and rhythm

Day 9 – Full Body Abhyanga

Day 10 – Head Massage (Shiro Abhyanga)

- Techniques for stress relief and mental relaxation
Day 11 – Pada Abhyanga (Foot Massage)
- Marma points on the feet
- Full relaxation protocol through foot massage
Day 12 – Marma Therapy Introduction
- Energy points and subtle body concepts
- Basic healing touch methods using marma knowledge
Day 13 – Back Pain Protocol
- Special techniques for stiffness and tightness
- Muscle relaxation methods for the back
Day 14 – Ayurvedic Relaxation Flow
- Full Ayurvedic relaxation therapy sequence

Week 3 – Western Massage Techniques
Day 15 – Introduction to Swedish Massage
- Core Swedish strokes: effleurage, petrissage, tapotement, friction, vibration

Day 16 – Full Body Swedish Massage
- Flow and rhythm in full body routine
- Techniques for muscular relaxation
Day 17 – Deep Tissue Basics

Day 19 – Sports Massage Introduction

Day 20 – Spa Relaxation Massage
- Introduction to aroma concepts
- Western spa-style full body relaxation routine
Day 21 – Final Integration
- Combining Ayurveda and Western systems in one treatment

- Client consultation and after-care guidance
Certification: On successful completion of assessments and practicals, students receive a 21-day TTC certificate in Ayurveda + Western Massage from Vrindavan International School of Yoga.
